I purchased this mattress for when my Grandkids want to "sleep-over" Mostly it will be used by them, as was my previous mattress. The AirBed is very comfy to sleep in, it doesn't trap your body heat like regular bed, which is great during hot summer nights. Not so great during colder nights especially if you get cold easily. So during those non-hot nights, add a couple layers of fleece blanket to line the AirBed, will help trap body heat for a warm and comfy sleep!

We use this this as a spare bed for my 7-year-old step-son who sleeps over in our city studio once a week. He loves to set it up -- the inflating and deflating by plugging it in and a press of a button is a game. It's comfortable and durable. We've had it over 9 months and haven't had a single problem. It stows away conveniently -- which is important in a small NYC studio. We also like that it's raised off the floor, so our son doesn't feel like he's sleeping on the floor. We bought it as a temporary solution and found that we are happy with it and will keep it! We're very pleased and recommend highly.

I have been using this bed as my primary bed since I bought it, 9/27/2010. Believe it or not, i have not need to refill it!!! I sleep real well on it, and it is so easy to get out off. my nephew visited me and he loves jumping on it, my nephew is 5 years old. the only thing i don't like is the pillow riser, but i sleep on the other end. We purchased 2 of these for use by my in-laws. The beds come with a travel bag with handles that it amazingly goes back into after being inflated, as long as you fully deflate it and follow the folding instructions. It blows up in just a couple of minutes with the self contained pump with cord storage. We had them inflated for several nights straight and they didn't lose any air what-so-ever. Laying on them is comfortable, there is little balloony feel (your head doesn't go up much when you put downward pressure on your feet). Deflation is a breeze using the pump. You will still need to push some of the air out at the end to get it to fold up into the travel bag, but it does do a pretty thorough job. However, the built in pillow bump is sort of awkward. If you are a back sleeper and like your sleeping surface firm, I found the pillow bump to be a tad too high for comfort. On your side and you may need to supplement it with a thin pillow. I am 5'10" and my feet do hang off the end a bit if I lay flat.
