We bought this as a Christmas gift for our son and daughter-in-law when they moved into a home that had a room big enough to use as a guest room, but used for other things when no guests were around. My wife and I arrived at my daughters (and Grandkids) home 3 day before Christmas. The mattress arrived the same day, as promised. We both slept very comfortable during our visit. Quilts or cover is recommended (during winter months) whereas it does become somewhat cool. Overall, while the mattress is more than we wanted to spend, I would highly recommend the purchase. Whether its resistant to puncture is yet to be seen.

Finally a large AND comfortable full height Air Bed. We were tired of the smaller uncomfortable Air Beds that were difficult to get out of in the morning. We added a convoluted foam mattress pad making it feel like a pillow top bed. This added an insulating layer that improved on heat retention on cold nights. Thank You... We Love it...

My husband and I are "plus size" people. We have thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and size of this bed. We went from waking frequently and constant backpain in our "traditional" mattress bed to sleeping through the night. We used the trip to our sons home in KS. It was roomy comfortable and I slept just fine. My wife said that the bed was great once I got up. Before it was too hard. My suggestion! Deflate the bed a bit and it will be soft enough for you. I like a firm bed. The great part is a am a senior and the bed is high enough that I do not have to crawl in or out. That is a major plus.
